I say.. I say.. that's a horse in our yard
The subdivision we live in is backed up to some pasture land. I guess a fence broke somewhere and this horse has been grazing in our front yard for the last week. It has been kind of fun and reminiscent of my childhood. It is kind of nice to walk out of my front door and have a yard full of hoof prints, but not have the responsibility of taking care of a horse. Well, the fun had to come to an end, so I went over and talked to one of the horse's owners to let him know that they must have a fence down somewhere. I think I heard them out there repairing the fence last night. Too bad.

I could do with some kind of grazing animal to come to my garden, the grass sure does need a cut and its just too cold for me to go out!

Glad your sister Sharon has came on line with her own blog! You were her inspiration!
WOW! That must have been a nice thing. I can only imagine the conversation carried on by the boys. It would have been fun listening to them talk about the horse in the front yard.
Miss everyone so much. I really got spoiled waking up each morning with all of you there and going down to eat breakfast with you.
Hope that your week home as a family - with no one else there - has been a joyful one.
We love you. Mom and Day
