I had my son in a freestanding birthing center, attended by a midwife, intervention-free. I took A LOT of flak for it. I even had people tell me that he should be taken away from me and put into foster care because I was putting him in danger by not having him in a hospital.
If I ever have more children, I won't do it any other way.

Sure, it's radical. But the Gospel of Jesus Christ is pretty radical.
